We all know about the iPod and now the iPod Mini and how cool they are; but have you actually listened to one?I did. I bought a 20Gb iPod and took it back within days - it sounded very poor: no bass, too toppy and no volume.
I want an MP3 player for commuting for a few hours each day.
Whilst the iPod is impressively small for the amount of music it contains its too big for my pockets. Plus, I dont need 10 days of music for my commute!
The 4Gb MuVo seemed to be the solution I was looking for:
- pocketable
- enough storage for a good selection of music
- great sound
The last point was an assumption based on my experience of Creative soundcards and their reputation.
I wasnt dissapointed.
The MuVo is a great little player and sounds marvellous; I honestly didnt think MP3s could sound that good.
Charge it from your computer, load it up with an easy drag and drop and you are good to go.
The only negatives are the headphones which are rubbish (get Sony MDR-EX 71s) and the lack of a remote - Im not paying £40 for a remote that should have come with the player and only costs $30 in the US.
The MuVo 2 4Gb is a brilliant small MP3 player.
